      • (52) RBC Donations – There is an opportunity to assist two East Hants non-profit organizations which requires Council approval to establish two donation funds and issue a grant for the same amount of funds raised. (East Hants Tide Fest Donation Fund and Enfield/Elmsdale Lions Den Playground Donation Fund).
      • (51) Email from Cynthia Isenor and Doug Penney regarding inequitable taxation of homeowners, requesting the Municipality find a more equitable way to share the tax burden among all residents.
      • (49) Due to the number of topics going to Public Information Meeting in June, staff are seeking a second date to hold a PIM. Suggesting June 17, 23 or another date at Council’s discretion.
      • (47) Sponsorship Request from Sipekne’katik First Nation hosting the Nova Scotia Mi’kmaw Summer Games in August. General Government Grant Fund does have miscellaneous funds available.
      • (15) Sponsorship Request from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #166 – Veterans’ Memorial Park seeking support sponsoring the purchase of display pole in the new Veterans’ Memorial Park. Details attached. Each pole costs $125 and the goal is to install 10 new poles. General Government Grant fund does have miscellaneous funds available.
