Welcome to the Open Competitions page for the Municipality of East Hants.
This page allows potential bidders to download competition documents at no charge and receive automatic notifications of addenda and other changes that may occur throughout the competition process. As of September 14, 2021, the link you receive to download documents will also provide you with access to a competition dashboard where you can control notifications, view the current document set, and upload a response to the competition. Each competition is unique; you will need to click on each competition that is of interest to your company in order to download files and get updates. If you decide the competition is not for you, you can turn off the notifications at any time.

Accessibility Audits, Selected LocationsRequest for ProposalsServicesSynopsis: In 2021, Council approved the first Accessibility Plan for the Municipality of East Hants and this Plan was later updated in 2025. The Plan ‘Accessible East Hants’ outlined how the Municipality planned to meet the needs of those who face barriers to accessibility by identifying barriers and setting out action items to remove them. One of the key elements to the current Plan is to identify barriers to accessibility due to the built environment of municipal buildings, parks and infrastructure. To understand some of the barriers that exist, the Plan identifies a need to undertake an Accessibility Audit of select municipal buildings.
