Standing Offer, Excavation ServicesRequest for Standing OfferServicesSynopsis: The Municipality of East Hants (“East Hants”) may require, from time to time and on an as-needed basis, the services of a Vendor to perform excavation work (the “Services”) at locations within the Municipality of East Hants, including in planned and emergency circumstances, for East Hants’ water, wastewater, sidewalk, and roads infrastructure. To this end, East Hants is establishing a Standing Offer list which will feature companies (“Qualified Bidder(s)”) that are capable of providing such Services and the Rates associated with such Services. Vendors are invited to review the general scope of the Services, included as Section 2, and the Terms and Conditions in Section 3. If, if interested, they are encouraged to submit a schedule of Rates as described in Appendix C, Schedule of Rates. This Standing Offer is meant to afford East Hants and their staff the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations (any time, day or night) and to provide a pool of Qualified Bidders who have the capability, capacity, and quality of work to perform both emergency repairs and planned maintenance under $10,000 per instance in an efficient and timely manner. Collect, transport, and process Household Hazardous WasteRequest for ProposalsServicesSynopsis: The Municipality of the District of East Hants requires the services of a qualified firm to collect, transport, and process Household Hazardous Waste such as, but not limited to, paint, waste oil, propane tanks, and other waste products generated from a typical household. Such Services are to be provided to the Waste Management Centre in Georgefield, NS and through two annual mobile collection events, one in the Elmsdale area and one in the Mount Uniacke area.Closes May 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM
