Notice of Consideration – Bylaw A-200

Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants hereby proposes the establishment of Bylaw A-200, Water Supply and On-Site Sewage Disposal System Upgrade Lending Program Bylaw. This Bylaw outlines the regulation of a new loan program to provide funding for upgrades to residential well and septic systems.
First reading was given to the proposed Bylaw at the Regular Meeting of Council held on June 26, 2024.
Second and final reading of the Bylaw is scheduled to be considered at the Regular Meeting of Council to be held on July 24, 2024.
