Request from the East Hants Fire Service Association requesting the municipality explore a municipal fire burning bylaw.

Letter from Christine MacAskill, Owner and Administrator of Serenity Lodge seeking options to separate her property into two PID’s to allow Serenity Lodge (long-term care facility) to continue operation separate from her personal dwelling. Municipal regulations prevent a separation of the property without an upgrade to Russell McKeen Drive to meet municipal standards at a significant cost. There will be no change in use on the property.

The NSFM Municipal Infrastructure Committee is interested in further understanding the municipality’s perspective on SERMGAR and roads. An invitation has been extended to participate in their next meeting on April 15, 2025. This is an informal meeting to gain better understanding of concerns and comments will not be considered formal feedback.
