2022 Design Awards

East Hants is one of the fastest growing Municipalities in Nova Scotia. With that excitement, comes a constantly changing built environment. East Hants wants to celebrate those who have taken the extra care and effort to make East Hants a more beautiful place to live by investing in our built environment. Below is a list of winners from 2022.

Certificate of Excellence

River Tree Developments (Marlaina Myra) For creating a well-built passive solar and net zero home with attention to detail.  Event Photo / Poster

Teal Architects & MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects (Tom Emodi) For creating a recreational facility, the East Hants Aquatic Centre, which strives to be accessible to all East Hants residents.  Event Photo / Poster

Certificate of Merit

East Hants Animal Hospital (Nicole Russell) For creating a positive contribution to the Elmsdale Village Core.  Event Photo / Poster
