East Hants is one of the fastest growing Municipalities in Nova Scotia. With that excitement, comes a constantly changing built environment. East Hants wants to celebrate those who have taken the extra care and effort to make East Hants a more beautiful place to live by investing in our built environment through the East Hants Design Awards.


Certificate of Excellence

St. Bernard’s Park – Lorraine & Herve Burri for creating a vibrant amenity space and for making a positive contribution to the community of Enfield.

Milford & Districts Lions Club for providing a new park destination to the community of Milford and beyond.

Harold and Edwina Campbell for constructing one level homes in Kennetcook that allow seniors to age in their community.

Barneybrook Ventures Inc – Willy Versteeg for providing seniors in Milford the option of aging in their community through the construction of one level living in a pleasant building that uses innovative technology to save energy.

RYC Property Limited – John Paul Cyr multiple unit development that is aesthetically pleasing and contributes to the visual appeal of the Municipality. Provides a housing alternative to conventional multiple unit development.
