The CAO has signed off on the final contribution agreement with Department of Fisheries & Oceans for 2026-2029 Habitat Stewardship Funding for Mitigating Human Impact on Critical Habitat of the Atlantic Mud-piddock at Burntcoat Head Park. Annual funding amounts shown in the attached document.

We have received confirmation that the Municipality has received $200,000 through a Federal Active Transportation Fund administered by Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada.
The funds will go towards the AT transportation project connecting Hwy 214 through to the soon to be installed bridge across the Nine Mile River connecting into Kiln Creek in Lantz.
