Notice of Public Information Meetings

The Municipality of East Hants will hold a Public Information Meeting regarding two proposals:

PLN25- 003: Serenity Lodge – Enfield
A proposal has been made to change the East Hants Official Community Plan and an existing development agreement to allow PID 45287638 to be split into two lots. Serenity Lodge would access the road using an existing easement on Russell McKeen Drive.

PLN25-004: RYC Property Limited – Shubenacadie
An application has been submitted to rezone parts of PID 45097227 to build 4 townhouse buildings (about 24 units) and 10 semi-detached homes on Havenwood Drive in Shubenacadie.

The meeting will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale. The purpose of the meeting is to outline the proposals and respond to residents’ questions and comments. A final decision to approve or refuse the applications will take place following a public hearing to be scheduled at a later date.
