Notice of Public Information Meeting for PLN23-008 – September 12, 2023

The Municipality of East Hants will be holding a Public Information Meeting regarding the following application:

PLN23-008: Amendment to Municipal Planning StratePLN23-Strategy and Land Use Bylaw- Mount Uniacke

The Tire Man has submitted an application to redesignate and rezone a portion of PID 45337722 from the Rural Use (RU) Designation and Zone to the Regional Commercial (RC) Designation and Zone. This is to allow for the expansion of an Automobile Repair and Automobile Maintenance use on the property.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 20232023 at 7 p.m. at the Mount Uniacke Fire Hall, 654 Highway 1, Mount Uniacke, B0N 1Z0. The purpose of the meeting is to outline the proposal and respond to residents’ questions and comments. A final decision to approve or refuse the application will take place following a Public Hearing to be scheduled at a later date.
