Notice of Public Information Meeting for PLN23-006 – September 5, 2023

The Municipality of East Hants will be holding a Public Information Meeting regarding planning application PLN23-006: Mapping Amendment to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw – Enfield.

E.L.T. Property Holdings Limited has submitted an application to redesignate and rezone two properties, identified as PID 45118221 (Civic 51) and PID 45078748, Old Enfield Road, Enfield, from the Village Core (VC) Designation to the Medium Density Residential (MR) Designation and from the Village Core (VC) Zone to the Multiple Unit Residential (R3) Zone. This is to enable construction of three apartment buildings.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale. The purpose of the meeting is to outline the proposal and respond to residents’ questions and comments. A final decision to approve or refuse the application will take place following a Public Hearing to be scheduled at a later date.
