Notice of Public Hearing for Shubenacadie Community Hall Disposal – July 26, 2023

Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants will hold a public hearing regarding a Municipal proposal to dispose of property situated at 2848 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, PID 45427218, Lot SH-1, known as the Shubenacadie Community Hall, to Lighthouse Ministries for $1.00. The purpose of the sale is to dispose of property surplus to municipal needs. The 2022 assessed building value is $116,200.

The public hearing for the consideration of the disposal will take place in Council Chambers at the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale, on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, beginning at 7:30 p.m.  At the hearing, Council will consider presentations from persons regarding the proposal.
