Notice of Public Hearing – April 24, 2024

Take Notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants will hold a Public Hearing regarding the following matter:

PLN23-012 Development Agreement – Nine Mile River

Application from Tammy and Joe Ferguson to enter into a development agreement to allow for a cosmetology school on property located at 7224 Highway 14 in Nine Mile River.

The Public Hearing will take place at the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, beginning at 7:30 p.m. In the event of cancellation, the meeting will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, beginning at 7 p.m. The Public Hearing will also be live-streamed on the municipal website at easthants.ca/livestream.

At the hearing, Council will consider presentations from persons regarding the proposal.
