Bylaw F-400-10 – an amendment to Bylaw F-400, Tax Exemption Bylaw
Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants proposes to consider Bylaw F-400-10, an amendment to Bylaw F-400, Tax Exemption Bylaw. The proposed amendment adds one new property, removes one property and updates addresses for 2 properties from the Tax Exemption Bylaw.
First reading was given to the proposed bylaw at the Regular Meeting of Council held on January 29, 2025.
Second and final reading of the proposed bylaw is scheduled to be given at the Regular Meeting of Council to be held on February 26, 2025.

Bylaw P-800-2 – an amendment to Bylaw P-800, Civic Addressing Bylaw
Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants proposes to consider Bylaw P-800-2, an amendment to Bylaw P-800, a bylaw Respecting the Civic Numbering of Buildings and The Naming/Renaming of Public Streets and Private Roads in the Municipality of East Hants. This amended Bylaw adds additional guidelines to Schedule A in respect to new public street and private road names, a new subsection of Section 7 which gives the option to submit an appeal for a rejected road name to Council, as well as a housekeeping amendment regarding a numbering error in Section 8.
First reading was given to the proposed bylaw at the Regular Meeting of Council held on January 29, 2025.
Second and final reading of the proposed bylaw is scheduled to be given at the Regular Meeting of Council to be held on February 26, 2025.
