Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw Mapping Amendments
Take Notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants has approved a proposal to amend the Official Community Plan. The amendments redesignate and rezone PID 45089802, Milford, to Walkable Comprehensive Development District (WCDD).
The amendments were given second reading and adopted by Municipal Council at a public hearing held on January 24, 2024. The effective date of the amendments is the date of publication of this notice. Copies of the amendments may be inspected at: easthants.ca/planning-applications.

Development Agreement Approval
Take Notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants at their meeting held on January 24, 2024, approved a development agreement by FH Development Group Inc., for a master-planned community located on land identified as PID 45089802, Highway 2, Milford.
Any aggrieved person, the Provincial Director of Planning or Council of an adjoining Municipality may, within 14 days of publication of this notice, appeal Council’s decision to the Nova Scotia Utility & Review Board in accordance with the Municipal Government Act. A copy of the development agreement may be inspected at: easthants.ca/planning-applications.
