Public Information Meeting

The Municipality of East Hants will be holding a public information meeting regarding the following two applications:

Gail Sloane & Peter MacDougall, West Indian Road

Mapping amendments to the Official Community Plan to amend the designation and zone of three properties on Barr Settlement Road, from Agricultural Reserve (AR) to Rural Use (RU). The three properties are identified as PID 45278769, PID 45402567, and PID 45375433.

Maple Ridge Stables, Mount Uniacke

An application to amend the Official Community Plan by enabling the development of horse stables, boarding and training facilities through a development agreement on lands zoned for residential purposes. The subject lands are located at 224 Etter Road, Mount Uniacke (PID 45232378).

The meeting will be held digitally, through a Zoom webinar, on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. (cancellation date is Wednesday, Feb. 10). To participate in the meeting, please register at easthants.ca/webinars. The purpose of the meeting is to outline the proposals and respond to residents’ questions and comments regarding the proposals. A final decision to approve or refuse the applications will take place following a Public Hearing to be scheduled at a later date.
