Notice of Application – PLN21-003 Shubenacadie and PLN21-005 Elmsdale

TAKE NOTICE that an application has been received for the following two proposals:

 

PLN21-003 – 2858 Highway 2, Shubenacadie

An application to amend the Official Community Plan (OCP) which will enable an existing medical centre building, located in the High Risk Floodplain (H

F) Zone, to be used for a use not otherwise permitted in the HF Zone. The property is located at 2858 Highway 2.

PLN21-005 – Elmwood Dr, Roulston Dr, and Pinehill Dr, Elmsdale

An application to enter into a development agreement to enable the construction of approximately 660 dwelling

 units. The proposal includes a mix of single unit dwellings, semi-detached dwellings, townhouses, and multi-unit residential. The application site consists of three large properties which are located between Elmwood Drive to the west and Roulston Drive & Pine Hill Drive, to the east.

This is a preliminary notice intended to inform the public of consideration of the proposals. Approval by Municipal Council at a public hearing is required before the proposals may proceed.
