The Fundy Tidal Interpretive Centre is a great spot to learn more about the region and the science of the world’s highest recorded tides. You can also walk right on the ocean floor while tide is low at Burntcoat Head Park. Check the website for daily tide times.
One of the most exciting ways you can experience the tides is by going tidal bore rafting. Local tour operators include:

The Rising Tide Shore route is an amazing way to explore the Bay of Fundy in a day trip from Halifax. Discover iconic places and incredible views that will leave you wishing it wasn’t just a day trip.
Visit the famous groundhog, Shubenacadie Sam, at the Nova Scotia Shubenacadie Wildlife Park for fun for the whole family. Or if golf is your game, visit the Links At Penn Hills Golf Course, and stay tuned for an opening date for Uniacke Pines Golf Course.
For the history buff, the Tin Smith Museum and Craft Shop is a unique experience to explore Nova Scotia’s past. You can also take a step back in time walking on the grounds of the Uniacke Estate Museum Park.
