A Public Information Meeting is being held regarding the following planning applications:
PLN25-010- Amendments to the Official Community Plan
Considering amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw to reduce the minimum setback requirement for an intensive livestock operation use within the Rural Use North (RU-2) zone.
PLN25-009: Amendments to the Official Community Plan
Application from David Maddeaux to redesignate and rezone his property located at 47 MacIntosh Road, Upper Nine Mile River. The proposal is to change the designation and zone from Agricultural Reserve (AR) to Rural Use (RU).
The purpose of the meeting is to outline the proposals and respond to residents’ questions and comments. A final decision to approve or refuse the applications will take place following a public hearing to be scheduled at a later date.
