Sportsplex Facility Attendant

We are recruiting for a casual Sportsplex Facility Attendant

The Sportsplex Facility Attendant is responsible for general labour tasks that support the functional operation of the facility. Main duties include moving nets and other equipment during floods, cleaning and preparing dressing rooms, custodial duties including mopping/sweeping and emptying garbage bins, checking ice plant equipment and other activities in support of events and to maintain timely rental schedules.

What you can offer:

• Previous experience working in an arena or other team-based recreation facility an asset
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperatures, inside and outside
• Able to work a varying schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• WHMIS and Basic Workplace First Aid, or willingness to complete
• Clear Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry Checks
• You have a solid understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in a customer service-focused environment

Hourly Rate: $17 p/hr

Hours: approx. 15 hours per week during days evenings and weekends
