Small Business Week 2021

Written by Economic and Business Development Division
The third week of October is Small Business Week, an annual celebration of entrepreneurship. The last 19 months have been an extraordinary time for everyone, but especially for entrepreneurs and their small businesses who faced so much uncertainty yet found ways to adapt and be resilient through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The theme for this year’s Small Business Week, October 17-23, is Seizing the Opportunity to Build the Way Forward. Learn more about Small Business Week here.
Our Business Community
East Hants is fortunate to have a strong and vibrant business community who contribute to making it a great place to live.
East Hants Economic and Business Development is supporting the local Chamber of Commerce with their Shop Local Campaign. Click here to learn more about how your business can get involved.
Follow the campaign on Facebook.
Supporting our local businesses, who play such an important role in our community, is vital to helping build a new way forward.
Bryan & I have deep roots in East Hants and felt like we wanted to give back. Having a multi-disciplinary training center in the area has given us a platform to do so. We love East Hants and are working hard to build a stronger community that can adapt and support each other through tough times
