Location: Hants North region, NS
We’re seeking applications for casual Arts and Crafts Instructors in the Hants North region. If you have a passion for sharing the joy of arts and crafts and an in-depth knowledge of a particular art or craft, we want to hear from you!
Arts and Crafts instructors work with our Community Recreation Coordinator to deliver community programming to groups of all ages in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
What you can offer:
• Certification, or proof of training or experience in a particular art or craft
• Experience leading programming for groups of all ages preferred, preference for specific age groups will also be considered.
• Basic Workplace First Aid, training can be arranged, willingness to obtain required
• Clean Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry Checks
• Solid understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging with skills to foster a welcoming and accessible environment for all participants
Programs will be offered in schools and community halls in the Hants North region.
Hours: 5-10 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $25.25 p/hour of instruction
