We are recruiting for a full-time Community Planner I to join the team.
What you can offer:
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, or a related field.
Ideally a minimum of two (2) years experience, preferably in Municipal Government.
Strong interpersonal, technical, and public relation skills, as well as advanced written and oral communication skills.
Ability to interpret planning and development legislation and regulations within the Municipal Government Act.
Strong computer software skills and working knowledge of the MS Office suite. Experience with mapping and utilizing GIS and graphics package, preferred.
Ability to work in high pressure, deadline-oriented environment and to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
Eligibility to become a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
