Notice of Public Information Meeting

The Municipality of East Hants will hold a Public Information Meeting regarding:

Lantz Secondary Planning Strategy

Following the completion of the Secondary Planning Strategy by FBM and Englobe, amendments are now proposed to the East Hants Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on the proposed amendments and respond to residents’ questions and comments. A final decision to approve or refuse the amendments will take place following a public hearing to be scheduled at a later date.
