The Municipality is updating its Climate Change Action Plan to understand and respond to the effects of a changing climate on our community, infrastructure and environment.
Climate change is having real and local impacts – including more frequent flooding, extreme heat, stronger storms, and shifting weather patterns. These changes affect our health, safety, economy, and quality of life.
We are at the beginning of this important work and are seeking input from residents, businesses, and partners as we move forward. Together, we can prepare for risks, reduce emissions, and build a more resilient future.

The “What We Heard So Far” report shares a clear summary of feedback gathered to date—especially from the General Public Survey. It highlights the main themes we heard and helps guide the next steps for engagement in a way that is open, accessible, and inclusive for everyone.
