Parking Enforcement

The Municipal parking program keeps roads, sidewalks, and public spaces safe and accessible by monitoring parking across the community and preventing unsafe or disruptive situations. Staff enforce rules for no-parking areas, blocked routes, fire lanes, hydrants, abandoned or improperly parked vehicles, accessible parking misuse and parking that interferes with snow removal.

Parking Enforcement Information

The Municipal parking program helps keep roads, sidewalks, and public spaces safe and accessible for everyone. Staff monitor parking throughout the Municipality to prevent unsafe or disruptive situations. This includes watching for vehicles parked in no-parking or no-stopping zones, blocking traffic or pedestrian routes, or creating hazards around fire lanes and hydrants. The program also addresses improper commercial vehicle parking, abandoned vehicles, and misuse of accessible parking spaces. During the winter season, parking that interferes with snow removal or maintenance is enforced.
