East Hants Tax Rates
East Hants Water Utility Fees:
The East Hants Water Utility serves the Municipality of East Hants with rates set by the Utility Review Board. The Utility services the Lantz, Elmsdale, Enfield and Shubenacadie areas (including the Elmsdale Business Park).
- Water:
- Base Charges: Standard Meter Charge (5/8″)-$44.41/quarter
- Large industrial clients may have up to a 3”/meter (extra charge)
- Consumption Charges – $12.34/1,000 gallons or $2.71/cubic metre
- Base Charges: Standard Meter Charge (5/8″)-$44.41/quarter
- Wastewater: $10/1000 gallons or $2.20/cubic metre
Solid Waste Information:
- Curbside Collection for Business: Commercial service for curbside collection is completed on residential routes.
- East Hants Business Benefit: Commercial Waste Limits are double that of residential limits.
- The East Hants Waste Management Center is Municipally owned and offers a large variety of Waste Management Services.
