The Municipality of East Hants will be holding a Public Hearing regarding the following item:
East Hants Official Community Plan Amendments
Proposal to amend the East Hants Official Community Plan for the Village Core (VC) Designation and Zone to increase the density from a maximum of 12 dwelling units permitted as-of-right, through site plan approval, to a maximum of 16 dwelling units, with a ground floor commercial component included. Council will also consider increasing the gross floor area and height of a 16-unit building.
The Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 beginning at 7:45 p.m. at the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale. It will also be livestreamed: easthants.ca/livestream.
At the Hearing, Council will consider presentations from persons regarding the proposal.
