Notice of Consideration – Bylaw P-800-2

Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants hereby proposes Bylaw P-800-2 an amendment to Bylaw P-800, A Bylaw Respecting the Civic Numbering of Buildings and The Naming/Renaming of Public Streets and Private Roads in The Municipality of East Hants. This amended Bylaw adds additional guidelines to Schedule A in respect to new public street and private road names, as well as a housekeeping amendment regarding a numbering error in Section 8.

First reading was given to the proposed Bylaw at the Regular Meeting of Council held on December 18, 2024.

Second and final reading of the Bylaw is scheduled to be considered at the Regular Meeting of Council to be held on January 29, 2025.
