Notice of Approval – Official Community Plan Amendments

Take Notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants has approved two proposals to amend the Official Community Plan.

RYC Property Ltd. – Havenwood Drive
The amendments redesignate PID 45097227, Havenwood Drive, Shubenacadie, to Established Residential Neighbourhood (ER) and rezone the same property to Two Dwelling Unit Residential (R2) Zone.

2929 Highway 202, East Gore
The amendments redesignate PID 45117975, Highway 202, East Gore, to Rural Use North (RU-2) and rezone the same property to Rural Use North (RU-2) Zone.

The amendments were given second reading and adopted by Municipal Council at a Public Hearing held on September 25, 2024. The effective date of the amendments is the publication date of this notice. Copies of the amendments may be inspected at: easthants.ca/planning-applications
