TAKE NOTICE that the Planning & Development Department for the Municipality of East Hants has received the following applications:

PLN23-003: Substantial Amendment to Existing Development Agreement – Enfield
Application from 3313013 Nova Scotia Limited to substantially amend an existing development agreement in order to change the type of buffering fence required by the existing development agreement. The subject lands are located at 2 Old Horne Settlement Road, Enfield.

PLN23-004: Amendment to Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw – Shubenacadie
Craig Langille has submitted an application to redesignate and rezone the property located at 25 Burgess Road, Shubenacadie from Rural Use (RU) Designation and Zone to Established Residential Neighbourhood Designation (ER) and Two Dwelling Unit (R2) Zone. The application also requests the expansion of the Growth Management Area to include the subject property. The intent of the application is to enable an additional two unit dwelling.

PLN23-005: Amendment to Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw- Milford
Stillman Onsite Inc. has submitted an application to redesignate and rezone a 1.4 Ha property, identified as PID 45091519, Highway 2, Milford, from the Established Residential Neighbourhood (ER) designation to the Medium Density Residential (MR) designation and from the Two-Dwelling Unit Residential (R2) Zone to the Townhouse (R2-T) Zone. This is to enable a townhouse development.

This is a preliminary notice intended to inform the public of consideration of the proposals. Approval by Municipal Council at a public hearing is required before the proposals may proceed. An advertisement will be published at a later date indicating the time, date, and location of the public hearing and any other public meetings.
