Plan East Hants
What is Plan East Hants?
Plan East Hants, a rewrite of the Official Community Plan, is now complete. The Plan is the vision for what East Hants will look like which includes rules and policy to achieve that vision.
At their meeting on July 27, 2016, Council gave second reading and approved the Official Community Plan. The new documents which includes the Municipal Planning Strategy, Land Use Bylaw and Subdivision Bylaw took effect on September 21, 2016.
