Take notice that the Council of the Municipality of East Hants will hold a livestreamed public hearing regarding the following matters:
The Municipality is proposing amendments that make it clearer that sewer and water capacity will be considered in evaluating subdivision applications. The proposed amendments would also ensure that capacity is not allocated if it is not expected to be used within five years.
LAND USE BYLAW
The Municipality is proposing amendments that would increase the parking requirement for multi-unit housing from 1.5 spaces per unit to 2.0 spaces in addition to required visitor parking.
The hearing will take place on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, beginning at 7:00 p.m., on easthants.ca/public-hearings. The public may make formal written submissions to Council on the proposals. Written submissions will be received until 4:30 p.m. on July 29 to email@example.com. Verbal submissions will be received at the time of the Public Hearing by registering to call in during the livestream with firstname.lastname@example.org by 4:30 p.m. on July 29.
