Notice of Applications – PLN21-009, PLN21-010, PLN21-007

Take notice that the Planning and Development Department for the Municipality of East Hants has received the following applications:

PLN21-009: Mixed-Use Development, PID 45089802, Highway 2, Milford
An application from FH Development Group to change the land use designation and zone of PID 45089802 to Walkable Comprehensive Development District and to enter into a development agreement for a mixed use master plan development including a mixture of low, medium and high density residential development; and open space.

PLN21-010: Rezoning Application, PID 45386737 & 45290178, White Road, Enfield
An application from Bona Investments Limited to rezone two properties on White Road to Two Dwelling Unit Residential (R2) Zone, to enable the construction of two-unit dwellings on each lot.

PLN21-007: Official Community Plan Amendment 541 & 543, Highway 2, Elmsdale
An application from Greg Burke to amend the Official Community Plan (OCP) which will enable Highway Commercial (HC) Zone uses on Mixed Use Centre (MC) zoned properties located along the CN rail line. The applicant wants to build self-storage buildings on his property at 541 & 543 Highway 2, Elmsdale.

This is a preliminary notice intended to inform the public of consideration of the proposals. Approval by Municipal Council at a public hearing is required before the proposals may proceed. An advertisement will be published at a later date indicating the time, date and location of the public hearing and any other public meetings.
