Notice of Application – Maple Ridge Stables & Elmsdale Lumber Company Limited
TAKE NOTICE that an application has been received for the following two proposals:
Maple Ridge Stables – Mount Uniacke
An application to amend the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw by changing the designation of 224 Etter Road, Mount Uniacke (PID 45232378) to Rural Use (RU) Designation and rezone the same to Rural Use (RU) Zone, to enable the property to be used for agriculture related uses, including but not limited to horse stables, boarding, and training facilities.
Elmsdale Lumber Company Limited – Elmsdale
An application to amend the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw by changing the designation and zone of a portion of PID 45342938 to Industrial Commercial (IC), and to consider substantially amending an existing development agreement for the existing lumber mill (PID 45082773) to permit a biochar production facility.
This is a preliminary notice intended to inform the public of consideration of the proposals. Approval by Municipal Council at a public hearing is required before the proposals may proceed.
