Plan East Hants Follow-up
In July 2016, East Hants Council approved the new East Hants Official Community Plan (OCP), which includes the Municipal Planning Strategy, Land Use Bylaw and Subdivision Bylaw. Since the adoption of the policies and regulations of the OCP, a review of the documents has identified errors, omissions and issues, which is typical with such a large document and amendments are proposed to address these. Also, a number of requests have been received from the public for changes to the new policies and regulations of the OCP.
Barneybrook Ventures Inc.
The applicant is requesting a change to the designation and zone for a portion of property on Highway 2, Milford (PID 45219516) that is currently zoned Two Dwelling Unit Residential (R2) to Townhouse (R2-T) Zone. The change is sought to enable the construction a four unit townhouse project.
The hearings will take place in Council Chambers at the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale, on Wednesday July 26, 2017, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
At the hearings, Council will consider presentations from the public regarding the proposed amendments to the OCP and application from Barneybrook Ventures.
