Approval of Amendments to the East Hants Official Community Plan

Take Notice that the Council of the Municipality of the District of East Hants has approved amendments to the East Hants Official Community Plan for the following proposal:

 

1354 Highway 2, Lantz

The amendments change the designation at 1354 Highway 2, Lantz (PID 45089307) from the Established Residential Neighbourhood (ER) Designation to the Medium Density Residential Neighbourhood (MR) Designation and rezones the same from Two Dwelling Unit Residential (R2) Zone to the Townhouse (R2-T) Zone. The amendments enable the development of a cluster townhouse development.

Said amendments were given second reading and adopted by Municipal Council at a Public Hearing held in the Lloyd E. Matheson Centre, Elmsdale, on January 23, 2019. The effective date of the amendments is the date of publication of this notice.

Copies of the amendments may be inspected at the Lloyd E Matheson Centre, 15 Commerce Court, Elmsdale.
