Due to an upcoming retirement, we are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join our team.

Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, the Finance Administrator provides payables and bookkeeping support, acts as Site Coordinator for the corporate credit card program, performs a variety of accounting related activities for the finance department, and provides administrative and other support services for the Director of Finance.

• Completion of a two (2) year community college level certificate or diploma in a Business Administration discipline with a concentration in accounting or related discipline and several years of related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Public service-related experience would be considered an asset.
• Previous experience in a senior administrative support capacity would be considered an asset.
• Advanced skills in MS Office; Familiarity with financial systems or other accounting databases would be considered an asset; Previous SAP experience would be considered an asset.
• Thorough understanding of basic accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Customer-service oriented, and great organizational and time management skills in order to meet the challenges of a busy work environment.

Annual Salary: $43,628 - $54,536
