- (56) The Municipality of East Hants was awarded $500 to go towards wellness initatives from the Association of Municipal Administrators of Nova Scotia (AMANS)
- (38) Letter to Minister of Environment, Nova Scotia Environment regarding Wetland Compensation Plan for Highway 102, Highway Connector Road Project
- (19) Letter from the Honourable Keith Irving, Minister of Environment and Climate Change regarding the launch of a 60-day public engagement on creating goals under the Sustainable Development Goals Act (SDGA) and a new Climate Change Plan for Clean Growth. May 27 – July 26, 2021. The municipality will be promoting the engagement process on our social media.
- (12) Letter to Department of Justice to start the process to move towards hiring additional RCMP human resources per Council Motion C21(100).
- (3) Colchester East Hants Library – Reopening Plan as part of Phase 2
- (2) Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF) formerly the Federal Gas Tax Fund has allocated East Hants a total of $2,243,161.

- (53) Letter from West Hants Regional Municipality regarding the Former Dominion Atlantic Railway (DAR) Corridor. Council may consider next steps to include requesting an in camera review of the issues through prior reports to Council (July Executive), staff to initiate conversations with West Hants to determine their plans (July/August) and to plan the public consultation to fulfill Council motion for adjacent property owner consultation (early September).
- (41) Letter from Bill Falkenberg, President of East Hants Sportsplex requesting approval to increase their operating line of credit with BMO to assist with cashflow needs as they move through the agreement process with the municipality.
- (25) Letter of Intent from the Shubenacadie Hall & Grounds Society (SHGS) to turn over their property in Shubenacadie to the Municipality.
- (14) Letter from the East Hants Curling Association providing a funding update and request in advance of Council’s consideration of their request to meet with corridor Councillors (to be considered at the July Council meeting). Update June 22: The $15,000 grant money was received, curling stones purchased and stored at the EH Sportsplex.
- (13) Appointment of Fire Inspector – Under the Fire Safety Act, Council is required to appointment municipal fire inspectors. Staff request that Jason Wiles, new Fire Inspector be officially appointed – Council meeting – June 23, 2021.
- (1) Letter from residents of Acorn Avenue, Lantz raising concerns with the road conditions and want to be advised of the municipal plan to pave Acorn Avenue and request a meeting with District 7 Councillor and staff when safe to do so.
