District 4 Special Election

Shubenacadie Municipal Special Election – this Special Election is to fill the vacant Council seat for District 4 – Shubenacadie.

WHEN
Election Day: July 23, 2022 (Advanced Polls are open July 14-22, 2022)

WHERE
Electronic (telephone/online) voting. Voter PINS will be sent directly to residents in the mail. If you do not receive your PIN by July 14, please contact us by phone or email.

• Kendalene (Bo) WAMBOLT

PERSONS QUALIFIED TO VOTE

• Be 18 years or older
• Be a Canadian Citizen
• Be a resident of Nova Scotia for six months before the election (January 14, 2022)
• Is ordinarily a resident of District 4 in the Municipality of East Hants
• Be eligible to be on the List of Electors (Voters List) for District 4. Please check the voter look up on our website to confirm.

PERSONS NOT QUALIFIED TO VOTE

• Does not meet “Qualifications to vote” listed above
• An inmate in a correctional or reform centre
• A person convicted of bribery under the Municipal Elections Act in the past six years
