Expressions of Interest – Police Advisory Committee
Do you have a passion for serving the community? The Municipality of East Hants is seeking an individual to serve as a member on the Police Advisory Committee. The committee assists Council in working with the RCMP by engaging in regular discussions about how policing services are being delivered to our residents.
Details:
- Committee meetings are held 4 times a year
- Meetings are held on Tuesday mornings for approximately 2 hours
- Members receive an honorarium
- Mileage for meetings can be claimed
How to Apply:
- Interested residents may submit a letter of application that includes:
- A brief biography, including skills or assets that will help the committee
- Explanation of knowledge of community issues and an understanding of policing values and governance
- Three professional and/or volunteer related references
