The night will finish up with a fireworks display at dusk. \nDirections: Take Highway 101 to exit 3\, turning left at the Irving.  The fire hall is on the left\, about 7 km up Highway #1.

DESCRIPTION:We are back for Day 2 of the Mount Uniacke Volunteer Firefighter Fair! \nThe parade starts at 11 a.m. at the Uniacke & District School. Once the parade is finished\, the fairgrounds will open again for the day with our canteen\, all-day bingo\, rides/booths and ox pull in the afternoon. \nEvening canteen starts at 6 p.m. with a dance featuring the musical talents of Jon Cyr. \nTickets for the dance will be available for purchase at the Fire Hall and doors open at 8:30 p.m. with a cash bar.

DESCRIPTION:East Hants Council will hold a public hearing regarding East Hants Official Community Plan Amendments. \nProposal\nTo amend the East Hants Official Community Plan for the Village Core (VC) Designation and Zone to increase the density from a maximum of 12 dwelling units permitted as-of-right\, through site plan approval\, to a maximum of 16 dwelling units\, with a ground floor commercial component included. Council will also consider increasing the gross floor area and height of a 16-unit building. \nAt the hearing\, Council will consider presentations from persons regarding the proposal. All are welcome to attend. The public hearing will also be live streamed.
