Seagull Cabinets invests in new facility in Mount Uniacke to grow business

Seagull Cabinet’s new facility in the Uniacke Business Park, Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia, will extend the company’s focus to include in-house design and direct sales to customers, creating new opportunities for the business.
Seagull Cabinets, a rapidly expanding five-year-old cabinetry company, has chosen the Uniacke Business Park, to establish its new warehousing and showroom facility. Having seen demand steadily grow over the last number of years, Seagull Cabinets will start construction in the spring for a 10,000-square-foot building. The Uniacke Business Park’s competitive pricing, easy highway access, and proximity to Halifax made it a top choice for Seagull Cabinets’ new location. The new facility will be home to a future 10 employees, who will build on Seagull’s reputation of superior quality and exceptional customer support and service.
Barry Wambolt and Cameron Bruce, co-owners at Seagull Cabinets, describe business as a journey with success and challenges. However, they feel very lucky when it comes to the team they have built with their employees and the relationship with their customers. Barry said: “What we enjoy most about our business is the people. Our team and customers. The network and connections we have built have enabled our success and led us to this new investment and facility.”
With this new facility, Seagull hopes to form partnerships with local educational institutions for apprenticeship opportunities as the business continues to expand. It will also enable Seagull to expand their service offering directly to customers in the Halifax area.
