Halifax-Moncton Growth Corridor

The Corridor includes six counties:

• Hants
• Halifax Regional Municipality
• Cumberland
• Colchester
• Westmorland (NB)
• Kent (NB)

The vast majority of the population base within these six counties (39% of the population living in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) is located within a 20 km radius to the major highway infrastructure connecting Greater Moncton with Greater Halifax.

East Hants is one of the major communities represented along the Corridor.

The Elmsdale Business Park is located along the Halifax-Moncton Growth Corridor. This park contributes to the growing commercial center of East Hants, servicing customers from Halifax to Truro, and beyond. It is conveniently located for shipping purposes, since it is only 30 minutes from Halifax or Truro, and 10 minutes from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. There is also immediate access to Highway 102, Nova Scotia’s main artery.
