9. What do I do if my water is coloured?

First, run your hot water tap and fill a clear glass.  If there is colour to the water then it is likely your hot water tank has sediment in it and it needs to be flushed out.  If there is no colour from the hot water tap but there is when you run the cold water then please call the Municipal Office at 758-2299 and ask to speak with Distribution Operator or the Field Foreman . Public Works staff will then be sent out to investigate.
